Welcome to Forged Filament. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Forged Filament.

Forged Filament Ltd operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein, set out the basis on which you may access and use our Services and purchase products from us.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. They contain important information about your rights, including limitations and exclusions of liability that apply to the extent permitted by UK law.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy [LINK]. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under UK law.

You may be required to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or placing an order, including billing and delivery details. You confirm that all information provided is true, current and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activity carried out under your account. You must not transfer or share your account with any other person.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images and prices are accurate. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your device or screen settings.

Product descriptions are provided for information only and do not form part of a contract. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw products at any time without notice.

Many of our products are manufactured using (3D printing) processes. As a result of the nature of this technology, minor variations may occur between products, including but not limited to visible layer lines, surface texture, colour tone, or small dimensional differences.

These variations are a normal characteristic of 3D printed products and do not constitute defects. Each item is produced individually, and no two items will be identical.

Product images and descriptions are provided for illustrative purposes only and may not represent the exact appearance of the final printed item.

Logos, Insignia and Emblems

Where products include representations of emergency service, military, organisational, or similar logos, insignia, or emblems, these designs have been independently re-drawn and adapted for use in 3D printing. They are not direct copies of official logos or images taken from websites or other sources.

Due to this re-drawing process and the limitations of 3D printing, such logos may not be an exact or fully accurate representation of the original design. Minor differences in proportions, detailing, or layout may occur.

Products are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or officially approved by any emergency service, military body, or organisation unless expressly stated.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase products from us. A contract is formed only once we have confirmed acceptance of your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including where pricing or description errors occur, stock is unavailable, or fraud is suspected. If we cancel an order, any payment taken will be refunded.

Your rights to cancel, return or obtain a refund are governed solely by our Refund Policy and your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Orders are for personal use only and must not be resold or exported for commercial purposes.

SECTION 4 – PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices are shown in GBP unless otherwise stated. Prices include VAT where applicable but exclude delivery charges, which are shown at checkout.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price payable is the price confirmed at checkout.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that sufficient funds are available.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays or customs clearance.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery of the goods to the delivery address provided.

SECTION 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Services, including text, images, logos, designs, videos and software, is owned by or licensed to Forged Filament and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit any content without our prior written consent.

SECTION 7 – OPTIONAL THIRD-PARTY TOOLS

We may provide access to tools or services operated by third parties. These are provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party tools or services. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.

SECTION 8 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Services may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of third-party sites.

Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.

SECTION 9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Forged Filament is powered by Shopify. All purchases are made directly between you and Forged Filament.

Shopify is not responsible for products sold through this store, and you release Shopify from any claims relating to purchases made from us.

SECTION 10 – PRIVACY

Personal data collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

SECTION 11 – FEEDBACK

If you submit reviews, comments or other content (“Feedback”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish that Feedback for business purposes.

You confirm that your Feedback is lawful, accurate and does not infringe third-party rights.

SECTION 12 – ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

We reserve the right to correct errors or inaccuracies and to cancel orders where information is incorrect, including pricing or availability.

SECTION 21 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

SECTION 22 – CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
